About the event
Join us for an inspiring evening at the Royal Theatre in Gananoque as we explore the need for wildlife crossings in the Frontenac Arch.
Through three compelling short films and a lively community conversation, attendees will learn how wildlife crossings can support ecological connectivity — the ability of animals and plants to move freely across the landscape to find resources — in the Algonquin to Adirondacks (A2A) region.
This event is a chance to learn about the Highway 401 expansion in the Frontenac Arch and explore how A2A's Safe Passage Campaign is advocating for wildlife crossings that let animals move safely between Algonquin Park and Adirondack Park.
🌿 This event is hosted in partnership with the A2A Collaborative, Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network, and Plenty Canada as part of our Ecological Corridors Project, with funding from Parks Canada.
